An oldie but a relevant goodie, this cartoon. Gasoline, heating oil, propane and natural gas costs are sky high and hurting the American consumer at the moment.
Light tight oil and natural gas exports from the US are increasing. Finished gasoline exported from the US reached 802,000 barrels per day in October, the highest since 2018; 3.34 MM BOPD of HZ tight crude oil and an expected 5.7 TCF of natural gas will be exported in 2021 (EIA). And (I hope you are sitting down for THIS), oil is being taken out of the SPR, our nations oil savings account...and being exported to Asia.
The Drain America First plan is now being embraced by private enterprise, of course; it only cares about money, Republicans, who think we'll never run out of oil, or money, and Democrats now engaged in draining the SPR and ridding our country of evil fossil fuels, forever.
You can't make this stuff up, man. We're on a mission of self-destruction in the good 'ol US of A and sooner, rather than later, we're all going to be driving Flintstone cars. Like it or not.
