Video Stuff

Everybody in the oilfield makes their livings in different ways. Many pompous asses, for instance on Twitter, would think this video represents a chicken shit way of making a living compared to the glamerous, big rig stuff in the shale business.

I can tell you with all truthfulness, after gravel packing this well it will make 10 times more profit than the best tight oil well ever drilled in the United States.

Big oil production numbers, or big NON-GAPP accouting money, does NOT equal profit.

Real oil men and women get this.

  Quote Stuff

Kaes Van’t Hof, chief financial officer of Midland-based Diamondback Energy, presciently observed in February that “we could run the gas price to zero in the Permian and still make great returns on oil wells.”
